It is with much sadness that we have to let you know that our Classics on Track for Children charity track day, initially postponed due to Covid 19 to 13th October 2020, has now regrettably had to be cancelled for 2020.
Goodwood now need the circuit on October 13th for a special event. Under their terms and conditions they can retract our circuit reservation and offer us new dates, which they have done, however what is being offered will not allow us to run a successful event. Arguably we could seek compensation of some sort, but given the difficult circumstances this is not an option that we feel comfortable with and as such will not be pursued.
It has been agreed with the sponsors of the Classics on Track for Children charity track day (who pay for the circuit hire) that we will find a new date in June of 2021, and as soon as I know exactly when, we will let you know.
It goes without saying that we, Paul, Spike and Jan, along with the children’s charities we raise money for (Winston’s Wish and Best Beginnings), are deeply grateful for your continued support and understanding and as soon as we have a new date confirmed we will of course let you know.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the postponement and now sadly this cancellation; something that is completely out of our hands, and a direct result of the Covid 19 damage inflicted on the events and hospitality industry particularly.
